Victoria full mouth implants cost, priced per arch

Full mouth implants are priced as a case, not per tooth, because a small number of posts carry a bridge of twelve. That makes it far less than one implant for every gap, and still the largest dental investment most people make.

  • Priced as a case, not per tooth
  • Protocol chosen from the scan
  • Payment staged across treatment

Why per case

Twelve teeth on four or six posts in Victoria

Replacing every missing tooth with its own implant would be both unnecessary and unaffordable. A fixed bridge spreads its load, so four well placed posts can carry a full arch. That is the single reason full mouth implants do not cost twelve times a single tooth, and it is why the number of posts is the first thing that moves the figure.

The protocol sets the count. All-on-4 Implants uses the fewest and often avoids grafting in the upper jaw, All-on-6 Implants spreads the load where the bone allows, and an Implant Overdenture that clips on costs less again.

The bridge itself is the other half of the number. Materials range from acrylic on a metal frame to full zirconia, and they differ in cost, in how they wear and in how they are repaired years later.

A full arch in Victoria is commonly $20,000 to $35,000, and both arches together $40,000 to $65,000. The arch is priced as one case because the posts, the framework and the teeth are planned as a unit. Pricing depends on how many posts the bone will take and which protocol suits, so these are example ranges rather than a quote.

How it is priced

Full mouth implants cost, priced in four steps

  1. Assess the whole jaw

Which teeth can be saved, which are failing, and what the opposing jaw is doing. An arch is never priced from a photograph.

  2. Scan and choose a protocol

Bone across the jaw decides how many posts and at what angles. That decision, not a package name, sets the base figure.

  3. Price surgery and bridge

Extractions, posts, the temporary bridge and the final bridge, each listed, with the bridge material stated.

  4. Stage the payment

Because treatment runs across months, payment follows the stages rather than falling due in one lump at the start.

One arch or two

Full mouth implant cost for one arch or both

Two arches of full mouth implants cost more than one but not double, because the planning, the surgical visit and much of the laboratory work overlap. Doing both at once also lets the bite be designed as a single unit, which is covered on Full Mouth Implants.

If a fixed bridge is beyond reach, that is worth saying at the consultation rather than walking away. Implant Supported Dentures anchor to a smaller number of posts at lower cost, and Full Mouth Restoration sets out the realistic routes side by side.

Common questions

Victoria full mouth implants cost questions, answered

Per arch pricing, what is included and how payment is staged.

Per arch, unless a quote says otherwise, and that is one of the easiest places for two quotes to be misread. Always confirm whether a figure covers the upper, the lower or both. Doing both together costs more than one but less than two separate courses of treatment.
They should be listed either way. Removing failing teeth on the day of surgery is part of most full arch plans, and on ours it appears as its own line rather than being folded silently into the total or billed afterwards as a surprise.
On our plans the temporary is part of the case, because you are not being sent home without teeth. Elsewhere it is sometimes an addition. It is worth asking directly, since the temporary is worn for several months and its quality affects how you eat during that time.
It is a harder, more stable material that resists wear and staining better, and it is milled rather than processed. Acrylic on a metal frame is lighter on cost and easier to repair chairside. Both are legitimate; the right one depends on your bite, your budget and how you want it to age.
Yes, and for a case of this size it is the norm. Payment follows the treatment stages, so the surgical visit and the final bridge are not due at the same time. Longer payment plans are available and we set out what each option costs in total before you choose.

Knew it would be a large number. What I did not expect was seeing extractions, temporary and final bridge on separate lines.

Doing both together was less than two separate treatments and they showed me the difference in writing before I decided.

Could not stretch to the fixed bridge. They offered the clip-in option honestly rather than pushing the expensive one.

Paid across the stages as treatment went along. Made a number that looked impossible actually manageable.
